Hi Jamie, i saw this post and just thought i'd put in my two cents worth.
I live in Bannockburn and a good mate of mine ( and member of this forum) lifes in the Marsh, so i make the trip over there on a regular basis.
Just be aware (you may already be aware) that the quality of the road is average to say the least.

Enjoy your ride friend.
Billy

Hi Billy I do the ride a bit there are some spots that arent great but between Ballan and anakie is not bad and where I turn off just b4 the fairy park to loop back to the marsh is not bad except for a couple of spots which I know mt heart now so I back off for them. When I turn back towards the marsh theres a section 26 kays long you can do plus 200 all the way.

Sounds great, maybe i'll come along with you for a squirt sometime in the near future mate!
I'm always on the lookout for a good local ride. I'm on the Eureka ride today so i'll have to pass this time round.

Just to add to that, the section of road between Anakie and Bannockburn is quit fun. The road cond. is a bit grubby here and there but i still like it. Just make sure you turn right comming out of Anakie ( approx 2 km) I think its Oneil Rd. And go though Maude.
