Can anyone suggest any companies which make custom made leather pants/jackets or suits, there used to be Underdog Leathers, but I think they've gone. Thanks

Tiger Angel produce some nice bike gear and you can always take stuff back for repairs or alterations.
They make all our jackets for our motorcycle couriers at work. Go Australian made :aussie

Would have to say that I'm very impressed with the tiger angel gear one of the guys that I travelled with across our small country as got a Touring Set of leathers all black with the Cat wrapped around it and swears by it. The only issue that he has found is once it gets wet it is a little heavy otherwise service was excellent and very good on price.

Thanks guys, I'll check all these out, not sure if I need a full suit yet or just pants, will see how much it costs first. Let you know how I go.

Can do you XTI 1 piece in a set size (40 - 50 ) $999.00 or a custom made set with road boots and gloves $1199.00 if that helps

I bought a great two piece from Underdog leathers. Cowhide with reinforced seems albeit quite stiff. I went for a slide at Eastern Creek at about 130 and only need the bum patch stitched up a bit. The leathers were fantastic and the slide action was, if anything, too good. Not a good idea to try and stand up at 80 kph.
Not sure if Underdog are still about. I got mine for $750 with both hard and soft armour and a back protector, and knee sliders. I'm also in the shop for another set of leathers. One set is only good if you've got one bike. I'm thinking of getting some Dainese leathers in Italian Flag colours (red, white, green) to match the Tricolore. If you're into the Dainese stuff, it costs ($2500 for complete set). Also, you need to be measured by a proper Dainese authorised tailor and when the leathers arrive, if they don't fit, tuff. |
