I just heard that Glenn the spa man has run a 9.570
Still a few runs left in it tonight so times may still improve.
Welcome Glenn to that elite band of Gen 1 owners who have managed this
Just behave and don't show off too much, a 9.576 would have been sufficient
Well done mate on the PB

Well done Bud - told ya opening your eyes would help
Ruffy
I bought some mr sheen. Its nice when theory works out in practice, doesn,t happen very often.A few little things to try and a quickshifter next before i open the motor and hunt some gen2 tail.Simmo fitted his pc3 and got whipped by yours truly.I don,t expect to repeat this he was way off.Had an awesome grudge race and beat him by half a wheel over the line, best fun of the night.Guidos o.oo1 reaction earned him $300 and my third gave me$100 less to save.

Alas, Rob may have been the victim of "more is less" as many have found to be the case at WSID with the colder weather and lessening grip. Gen2 getting beat by a Gen1, how could this injustice have happened? You may be right Glenn it may be a one off, or a regular thing over the colder months. Best part though, no visions of a Baboons behind!

With respect to the night of my last PB, the joy of the moment is long gone but the memory always remains. Glenn having beaten my PB is a good thing and I take a bow to his achievement, who knows this new benchmark may even rekindle my interest and I may get the inclination to "step up to the plate" as it were. It proves that Glenn at least is not just growing older and going slower, as I have been doing of late. I find it easy to slacken and lose interest. Us "regulars" have all become quicker on Wednesday nights because of Glenns seemingly unending interset in ways of making the Busa go quicker.
Once again, well done champ!

Hey Glenn , well done on your time mate. Its Matt from Adelaide. It was damm impressive seeing you run consistantly in the 9's when i was in sydney a couple of months ago. Actually it got me fired up and i listened to your advise on how i could improve my 10.5 runs. So I went out and bought lowering links for the back, a lowering front triple clamp, so the bike is nice and low now, Did the airbox mod, got the clutch welded, bought a TRE, removed the pair system, the bike was putting out 167hp with the Muzzy and PC3 , just got it re-dynoed yesterday with all the stuff done and its putting out 174hp now. Im pretty happy with that. Hopefully this new track gets built pretty quickly down here, so i can put it all into practise!!. If not I will have to save my pennies and do another trip up there again.
Anyway mate well done again.
Ps Your old mans braketech rotors are shit hot, i love them, they look and work great
See ya mate
Matt
