Bugger that, new plan.

Sydney, Mudgee, Dubbo, Wilcannia, Broken Hill, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Adelaide, Mt Gambier, Warrnambool, Melbourne, Bairnsdale, Mallacoota up the Brown Mountain and home.

Sounds like fun, and I haven't been to a few of those places. If there are any members on any part of the trip, I'd love to catch up with you. I'll try and time Melbourne so I can come to a coffee night.

HEIDI xxx

P.S. I'll catch you next time Trix.

It was 3 degrees overnight here too. Buggerit, I'll take a jumper. If I wear leather pants and my dryrider I should be ok. I've just been playing on google maps. MAN that is fun. I think I've managed to find most of the tiny roads.

Heidi1 Wrote:Thanks so much for the offer Trix! I'd love to see you mob too. I'm just so damn sick of being POLITE and NICE all the time, it is an important part of my job. What I want to do is go somewhere and start a bar fight, get dirty, wake up with a tattoo I didn't expect and ride the wheels off my bike. I used to tour up that way all the time and love the roads, but I think I want to go somewhere where I might get mugged.

Tassie is an option, but it just seems so damn sensible. I could go to Borneo and chop a hole in the jungle.

Alpine ride you will right in Beer

Biker I've done the trip from Perth to Melbourne, toured Vic and South Aust, then back to Perth ,then flew to Geelong and rode a Busa back to Perth again within the last three months. It's a fantastic journey and something everyone should do at least once in their life, but give yourself plenty of time to take it all in. It give's you a perspective on just how big and how remote parts of Australia are, and why Perth is the most isolated city in the world. Take the Great ocean road from Victoria, and head to Adalaide via Portland, Mount Gambia. When you get to Norsman in WA turn left and head to Esperance then do the south coast to Albany and follow the coast up to Perth. On the way back head east to Kalgoorlie, then on to Norsman and turn left to get back east.

Sounds great. I was wondering where that road over the Vic mountais was. I've only ever gone from the NSW side and when I've been in the Vic side, I've been chasing someone and not looking at a map. Omeo to Bright. Goddit.

Heidi1 Wrote:Ok, I have a plan. I'm at a wedding in Sydney on April 19, from there I'll head north. I'd love to catch up with the Queenslanders if that is still on offer Trix! I'll work out where I'm headed and get back to you.
After my trip around Longreach last year I can only say that "Fark Queensland is BIG, well worth the ride mate. In just about any pub up there you'll get your blue, just say anything rude about Joe!Lol2Lol2Lol2
