Hope you all had a great day at work. As for me and Max.. well it was such a lovely day.
We went riding. A nice ride through some twisties, a bit of a blat along the straights. Phoned up a Hoda rider to come along, but he was tooo busy working.

G'day
We are off tomorrow for a cruise to Melbourne, on the boat Monday evening, back to Sydney town on the other boat on the 19th. 2 weeks riding in tassie in between.
Just thought I'd share that with you...

Sorry Simmo,
It's another beautiful day in Canberra and this shift worker is off duty again. Might go for nother ride, even if it is only over to Max's for a coffee. He lives all the way over the other side of town to me. Might take 30 mins to get there.
Yep, real sorry Simmo.
But, I slipped out for another spin over Bulladelah Mtn today.
Ph#k&n Phantastic. Never passed another vehicle in either direction.. (over the mountain that is)

Busgo... one of my all time fav pieces of road ! Must be even better now that they've built the bypass and all the tin-tops avoid it. I used to have a place just outside of Wooton, so that was a regular trip. Must do that run when I get the next busa. I'll add it to the list.
Have they messed it up with 'traffic calming' devices or is it still the same as before ? There used to be an almost permanent police presence on that section of road in the old days - but I haven't been on it in 4 or 5 years. Is Buladelah still a danger spot or have the Highway Patrol moved up to Taree now ?
The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob
Its a great road Astro.
As long as the road is dry, the only hazards are sticks that litter the road and the stray animal sometimes.
I did 250ks up there and back and only saw 1 patrol. He had an overloaded ute pulled up.
The surface over the mountain is better than ever because they have removed all the bumps and corrugations.

Oh yeah.... gotta get me some of that ! Sounds heaps better than before (the sticks / debris were always something to be aware of) and theres obviously less interest from the boys in blue these days. Thanks Busgo.

Well looks like I'm Riding Not Working again.
So if anyone is interested in mid week rides around the Hunter Valley or Mid North Coast of NSW, give me a yell.
(weather is too nice to be stuck at work all day)

Did you chuck it in Busgo.... or did you just finally accumulate enough locksmithing skill to be able to resume your cat burgular career ?
The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob
They put me on as a trainee when they could not find an unemployed locksmith to fill a skill shortage.
I did 3 months with a rapid learning curve and loved it but had to be under guidance all the time on the road because of the professional security issues. I could handle the benchwork easily.
Along came another qualified locksmith looking for a job and they could not afford to keep me on.
Boss was pretty upset at the circumstances but had no option.
I may follow up with another couple of companies in and around Newcastle to see if they need help.
It was a plum job though with no weekend or on call work.
Other companies may not be so attractive with conditions.
