Not exactly in the spirit of this thread, but I don't have anything more worthy to share.
Back when I had Astrobusa MkI (Blue/Silver K1) I was cruising towards home down Pennant Hills Rd one afternoon coming back from Pt. Macquarie. Some guy on an R1 was playing the tosser, trying to get a rise out of me. Riding beside me in the same lane, cutting in front, then falling back and zooming up from behind to pass (again... in the same lane as me).
I was knackered and just not in the mood to play the testosterone game, so I ignored him and gave him a wide berth. Obviously it was driving him crazy so at the next set of traffic lights he comes screaming up from behind in the lane next to me...
Doing a stoppie.....
Looking straight at me...
Not watching the traffic....
Just as his rear wheel touched down, my lane started to move....
So I accelerated off....
So did he....
His lane hadn't moved yet.

Far out every time I pull up a set of lights it seems on be on, every body wants to try and beat a Busa
Tell me about it...
Cars usually i dont bother but this time the car lining up next to me i knew was a 11.6 ls1 gts. He takes off hellbent an im next to him,an i look at him an hes lsn left an right,i think yeh il let him get traction,he gets it at about 160 i just stay toe to toe with him to see how much faster hes williing to go,seems like the whole way so after 220 i yank that throttle an showed him what top end is all about...
My favourite was a 4 way run of a set of lights against 2 k6 gix1000's with pipes,a black 05 r1 an a earlier blue r1,all took off like shit c*******,only 1 stuck with me cuz the rest back off after there shit launch but left him as well, was close but no cigar..
'Doesnt matter if ypu win by an inch or a mile...Winnings WINNING
An i think greg you gotta go find that van on your
Wel see then!
HAHAHAHAHA!
OWNED!
Keep em coming guys, very entertaining reading

Cars not so much, but I do come across an occasional Lambo owner (few my area) that likes a bit of a drag. They know they'll be beaten but I'm happy to trade the sight of a 'busa launching in return for the sound of a Lambo launching :) Oh, and I really do have to stop doing that hand back-and-forwards motion to Skyline owners, it only angers them. One day they'll learn that slapping a GTR badge on the back of a GTS doesn't actually mean it goes any faster, let alone keep up with a 'busa in a game of TLGP. I've found that most car owners pull up and look apprehensively at the bike, not willing to give it a go.
Bike owners otoh, few riders seem to actually understand what "acceleration" actually means until it is demonstrated. My favourite method is keeping with them through first then as we're grabbing second, waving at them and going WOT. Usually get to the next set and they're looking feel sheepish.
Oh, and outpacing supersport riders over Mt Glorious. Routinely eat up supersport riders without exceeding the speed limit only to have them blast past at light speed on the straights (and occasionally them then finding out the name of the officer that was standing behind the tree)

Astro's story reminded me of a beauty that I witnessed when I was in the Air Force at Fairbairn in the ACT.
We regularly had the Governer General or PM come to visit when they were flying in or out.
The GG has a big old black Rolls with the usual flags and trim etc.
He also had a 4 bike escort on this occassion - 2 in front and 2 behind.
Halfway down the main drag from the front gate of the base to the main road, there is a RAAF fire station tucked in behind some hedges.
The entourage is heading out of the base towards Canberra and the lead escort bikes are hooting along at about 80k. As they approached the fire station a firetruck bursts out in front of them. They hit the anchors, the Rolls hits the anchors and the two rear enders rear ended the roller......
No one hurt except pride and scratches but really funny to see.
"If time catches up with you. You're going too slow!"

I had one yesterday on the way to work.
Guy in a SS commodore with a little Chev bowtie on it.
We were in the back streets of Mt Waverley bypassing the main traffic. I was behind him.
We left the stop sign & proceeded straight up a fairly steep hill.
I started to go wide to pass him up the hill & he decides to nail it & give me a run up the hill.
I passed him on the back wheel.
He made it to the top, backed right off & then turned off.

These are really good guys. Glad to see that I'm not the only one suffering the IwannadragaBusa syndrome. God they shit me!! I've got a couple that spring to mind. A couple of years back when I was working at Taren Point used to go home down Pt Hacking Road and on to Princes HWY.Had my K4 SV1000S at the time. Most afternoons I would pull up beside this bloke on a Harley. Dunno which one, they all look like shit to me. Every afternoon he'd have a go and every afternoon he'd get his arse kicked. Revving and burning out, making more noise than you'd believe and never got close.
The other instance that springs to mind was when I'd not had the Busa long had about 1000 k's on the clock and went to pick my son up from Soccer training. This tosser in an EVO7 Lancer dcides to have a go. I wasn't in the mood and tried to let him go but one of his mates was behind me and tailgating. The EVO driver was so busy watching me with a stupid grin on his face that he started to drift over into my lane. It was the first time that I'd ever really cranked the Busa up (and the first time I had a taste of what they're really all about). In not much over 100 metres I'd cracked 200K's and the EVO had disappeared. What a dangerous f'wit though. Both good and bad memory as I remember the look on his face as the Busa took off, but him and his mate really placed my son and I in a very dangerous situation.
Cheers All
It's a week by week charade.
Yer, when you're not in the mood is when peeps want to race, and the nights you're killing for someone to have a go, everyone is hiding!!!
Every traffic light is launch practice now, suffice to say I always look back & the traffic is like 200m behind in seconds..love it.
My latest gimmick seems to be spotting cops just after I launch at the lights & giving them an exaggerated nod as if they are mates seems to work. Who knows what they are actually saying in the squad car.
My favourite was one night out with my mate on his gixxer, we were gunning it everywhere.
Eventually came up to a police van pottering along one of the back roads. We both slowed up heaps & I slowly crept up next to the van.
I suddenly assumed my best touring position with arms held perfectly ergonomic & chin up high like a BMW rider sitting dead on the speed limit
There were like 3-4 cops in the van and they were all laughing hysterically.. That was on the copper busa...I know they knew I was being full of shit but hey...I had to put on a face for my mates
