TURBOS ANDS HEAD GASKETS ..HELP..
#1
I Have a turbo motor and over heated it .
It was spitting out water through the radiatior cap.
I have pulled the motor down and replaced the head gasket and installed new 60pbs head bolts.
The head and block didnt appear to be warped (checked with a ruler)
any way started the bike yesterday and dam same thing is happening.
I put a clear radiator hose on the bottom into the motor to check for flow , I also removed the thermostat and on quater throttle revs it seems to be flowing nicely.(didnt appear to be any water flow on idle)
So I am guessing its the head gasket still (DAM) or a cracked head or block ,anyone have any suggestions ??
I think a pressure test ??

Ruler isn't realy accurate enough,
i finish mine with 600 wet paper ,wet with crc on a piece of glass, first couple of passes will show all sorts of irregularitys, esp between cyls. also counter sink the bolt holes , but this is mostly for big boost and not taking chances.
there will be some water movement from the radiator due to heat expansion, maybe even a little air bubbling from hot spots near the exhaust ports, be more worried if its blowing water out and not returning it from the reservoir.
pressure test will only show something if its badly blown, chemical test will show more.

Thanks MAJ
I have use your kind words of wisdom and found there was 1 litre to much oil in the motor..oops
the over heating seems to be just air trapped in the motor .
I will no if it is right when I through a leg over it tomorrow.thanks again..ash
