Front Axle Removal Tool
#1
Folks,

Bunnings kindly sell the attached tool made especially for removing the front axle. Cost <$1. Get it from the section that carries the threaded rods. I believe it is a rod joiner for a 12mm or 3/8in rod. Its 24mm on the outside (flats) and 50-75mm long.

This beats getting a bolt and welding three nuts onto it mentioned elsewhere (apologies for extra thread - I gave up after 20 mins of searching for the other thread).

I got mine today, $3.50 from Magnet Mart part No 482067. had to make the bloke look for it, he was ready to give up at 22mm, but I insisted there was a larger size.

It's a hell of a lot more compact than the one I made. It will go in the tool bag.

Makes a mockery of the $80+ that Suzuki want for their "special Tool"
