Having some trouble with new levers for my K8.
The supplier is saying that the newer K8's come with a Radial Master Cylinder?
Its more out of curiosity but, does anyone have a K8 with Radial Master cylinder?

Nope..
Mine is number 333 and no radial master cylinder on mine.
The calipers are radial not the MC.

Yeah I know about the braking system be Radial calipers with a conventional M/C.
The supplier is telling me that the newer K8's have the Radial M/C as well
Perhaps some of the guys with the white ones could have a look?

Didn't think ANY Busa's were out with Radial master-cylinders ?
B-King has and they do work well.

Tony, I thought the same but the manufacturer is adamant that the newer ones have Radial M/C
Kawasuki, its an ebay store and they have done the right thing by me (new lever on the way and they reimburse me for the return freight), no complaints there. The manufacturers website is what lists a lever to suit the radial M/C. I think they have thier wires crossed, but just wanted to put it out there to see if it was true.
Tony has nailed it.... perhaps the supplier is thinking about the B-King, which has the hugely excellent Nissin radial calipers, and Nissin radial master cylinder.
Strongly, emphatically concur that the K8 should have received this same hardware. However, their parts bin is overflowing with Tokico radial calipers from their GSXR1000 line, so it appears to have been a cost-saving initiative.
Not that the Tokico radial calipers are all *that* terrible, mind you... but the Nissin is a superior component, IMO.

soeaking of brakes Ray. was talking to Max and he reckoned that the disc's made the biggest noticable difference in braking performace. is that about right? i dont wanna go the whole hog and spend that much but a set of discs i could manage and some braided lines and good pads i think id have a pretty good setup for my 08?
