Thank you and congratulations Ray.
You organized a fantastic weekend that was clearly enjoyed by all. Even Simo, (those who went will know that Simo didnâ€t exactly have an eventless weekend). Iâ€ll leave it up to him or somebody else to explain. Iâ€m just glad that he had the wings to fly above it all.
Back to the point, the weekend couldnâ€t have been better if you tried Ray. You lead us through a truly awesome loop of Jindy, proving that rain and wet roads are no reason not to have a full on fang with friends. Speaking of friends, there may not have been a huge crowed of us there, but the strength of character and allegiance to the fundamental values that we expect of Hayabusa riders was more that blatantly evident. We had entertaining conversation and bucket loads of support shown when things like punctures, mechanical failures, electrical complications, and confidence in ones skills where issues. The group was nothing short of truly inspirational. I rode home alone in the knowledge that, although I didnâ€t share the road with another bike I shared the experience of being a rider with some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of calling friends. For that, Ray, I thank you for your tireless efforts in organizing this weekend and your motivation and inspiration to be a part of something so exceptionally worthwhile.

If the urge to organize another one takes you Ray, put me on the mailing list.
To all my new friends, I hope you all made it home safe an well, like myself, and I look forward to hearing from you all soon.

A very tired, but very happy
Geoff.

Thanks mate and dont forget to pm me your address so i can send u a puncture kit u so graciously handed over. I think we will have to have a Sydney/ACT Hayabusa Club forum and there could be invited guests for our yearly ride.

I'm with Cape, I had the BEST TIME with the lovliest people (well, lovely on the INSIDE). Maybe because there was fewer of us we got to spend more time together. I think I've gotten closer to you guys because of the weekend, perhaps a little TOO close to at least one of you.

he was behind me on the vfrLol3 i rode the bimmer though and for the first time experienced totally snatch free drive to the back tyre.Amazing.you can tell they retard the timing between gear changes to soften the jolt.Technology in practice. The front wqheel felt real heavy though with the telelever.Still reckon the busas quicker though, just ALOT more roar.

As I said Ray, couple of time I had to change down to 5th gear comming out of those corners just to keep up with them busas . And Cape I wonder if they have wet weather gear with need sliders.

ARHHHH nearly forgot the 5th gear treatment, yes a said day when a beemer rider has to drop into 5th out of the corners just to keep up with the Busa ...Yes and the same rider has been given "The Golden Boulder Award" for his precise steering which he for a reason beyond my comprehension had a whole road to himself (both sides) hit the only boulder in sight. Yes the award goes to HIM( hgazbus which should read "hadabus)I will send the cup out as soon as it is made up.
