Thank you and congratulations Ray.
You organized a fantastic weekend that was clearly enjoyed by all. Even Simo, (those who went will know that Simo didnâ€t exactly have an eventless weekend). Iâ€ll leave it up to him or somebody else to explain. Iâ€m just glad that he had the wings to fly above it all.
Back to the point, the weekend couldnâ€t have been better if you tried Ray. You lead us through a truly awesome loop of Jindy, proving that rain and wet roads are no reason not to have a full on fang with friends. Speaking of friends, there may not have been a huge crowed of us there, but the strength of character and allegiance to the fundamental values that we expect of Hayabusa riders was more that blatantly evident. We had entertaining conversation and bucket loads of support shown when things like punctures, mechanical failures, electrical complications, and confidence in ones skills where issues. The group was nothing short of truly inspirational. I rode home alone in the knowledge that, although I didnâ€t share the road with another bike I shared the experience of being a rider with some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of calling friends. For that, Ray, I thank you for your tireless efforts in organizing this weekend and your motivation and inspiration to be a part of something so exceptionally worthwhile.
If the urge to organize another one takes you Ray, put me on the mailing list.
To all my new friends, I hope you all made it home safe an well, like myself, and I look forward to hearing from you all soon.
A very tired, but very happy
Geoff.
