HELP - Do you know the previous owner
#1
Hi All,

Looking for the previous owner of this bike, would love to chat to him about some specifics i couldn't get when i bought it. It was under consignment.

She's an '02, bought in SA, still registered in SA.

If you know the owner, please pass on my details or PM me etc so I can give some details for him to contact me if possible.

I love the bike, it's awesome - would love some extra info rather than doing everything the hard way. (Added to the fact she is still in SA for a few more weeks, whilst i am in VIC)

She is rather distinctive and especially being in SA, should have been seen around.

Here she is:

Hi 2CUTE4ME
We already have a nemesis on this site
I'm tipping He or She is Greek and goes to church
Well you would think someone would know something

Quote:Nemesis (in Greek, Νέμεσις), also called Rhamnousia/Rhamnusia ("the goddess of Rhamnous"), at her sanctuary at Rhamnous, north of Marathon, in Greek mythology was the spirit of divine retribution against those who succumb to hubris, vengeful fate personified as a remorseless goddess. The name Nemesis is related to the Greek word νείμειν, meaning "to give what is due". The Romans equated one aspect of Greek Nemesis, which might be interpreted as "indignation at unmerited advantage", as Invidia (Aronoff 2003).
Nemesis is now used as a term used to describe one's worst enemy, normally someone or something that is the exact opposite of oneself but is also somehow similar. For example, Professor Moriarty is frequently described as the nemesis of Sherlock Holmes.

Yeah, saw it & test rode it, etc. It was sold under consignment by a shop. They take the commission to do all the work so the owner doesn't need to get involved. After i put down my deposit, i got all the new rego labels, etc in my name, never needed to organise a transfer etc.

what extra info do you need if the transfers are all sorted?

Just want more info about what he's done with the bike rather than me pull it all apart. There is a whole stack of custom parts on it, so where they came from, etc...
