How about we do a Saturday afternoon ride, and finish up with a meal (or even just a meal). Nice big get-together. I was thinking maybe Sat 30th....

Hi Richard

If the weather is as great as it has been for the last few days, I'll be there for sure.

Cheers

Sound like a great idea. If only I had'nt lost my licence for six months four months ago. As Arnold would say "I'll be back". Look forward to a ride day sometime after August 17. (Only 186 in a 100 zone. No sense of humour some police).
Stay upright and safe riding, Phil.

Hey, MFJ, still expect you there for the eat. Even if the weather is lousy, and even without licences, we can still dine together...

Can't argue with that Richard. I'll be knocking off work Saturday 30 at about 1600hrs. Drop me a line if your in the Geelong area. (P.S. watch the Bacchuss Marsh road, that's the one where the cops have no sense of humour. Cheers Phil.

Richard,
I just spent a couple of days in Melbourne and all the guys down there reckon the cops drop out of the trees there so think on the ground. Must be a bugger given the great bike rds you have???
As for no sense of humour, they always smile when ever I get a ticket???

Hi Frosty,

Pity we didn't get an opportunity for a quick chat whilst you were down here in Melbourne, would have loved to have met you.

You are right about the police down here (it's murder ), they spend all their efforts in traffic where there is plenty of easy revenue to be had. Bugger fighting crime, it obviously doesn't pay.

I have an acquaintance in the force and there are days he is sent in a green 2 door WRX fully loaded with the latest speed sensing equipment (no expense spared), specifically to target motorbikes - obviously a very profitable little business.

I just hope and pray that there are no cops in busa heaven!

Cheers

Les,
Funny you should mention Busa Heaven, riding the thing is definitely a religious experience. In fact I remember the first time I rode it, my first words were,
"J***S..C****T !!!!!
I couldn't arrange to meet any of you vic guys last week much apologies, it was a last minute work thing sort of found out Thursday morning that I would be going that afternoon.. next time.
cheers
Steve...

Busababy,

WRX 2 door (STI) they don't come in GREEN from the factory busababy,
Prodrive Blue or White only. And I don't believe that the victorian police would be ordering STI versions of the WRX. I think you should have a closer look, I am sure that it will be a 4 door version. Also the 2 door STI variety '99 only 400 of this model were imported all pre - sold.
There is NO 2 door version currently available.

Yes, the Geelong-Bacchus Marsh Road is notorious for its police presence, but that's not the only thing it's notorious for. Did you know that bits of the Mad Max movie were filmed along there?

Saturday 30th sounds good, I'm rostered off that day. I'll "watch this space" to see what's planned.

G'day Busababy,
Yeah....I 've got one in the shed as well. ! guess you could say I'm a SPEED FREAK.

Demeester,
Are you still coming to Perth????? The weather is perfect for you at the moment.
Cold & Wet...you should feel right at home. Don't forget my offer to get away from the inlaws for a couple of hours.
