Here are some pics of my dented muffler.
Bloody roo jumped into me this morning in the dark. 100 meters from work in a 40k zone. Thought I managed to swerve far enough away from the thing. Yes, those are claw marks you can see. Almost got my glock out to go back and get him.
Taking the can off to see if I can get the dent removed. Putting standard cans back on for a while.
It now sounds worse than a sewing machine. Edited by: Busdriver at: 1/2/07 19:42
All I can say is
Arguing with idiots is like wrestling a pig in the mud, you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it!
goddammit - that is the same side I have just scratched, and we both have tri-ovals, but I think USA and JAP are different. Makes no difference anyhow as they are the same side.
Or is yours a single? Chopper says "Harden the f*** up Australia"Edited by: m8ee at: 1/2/07 22:49
Used to be able to buy resleeve kits from Yosh.
Not nice.........
Bloody roos seem to have a fascination with bitumen & bikes
Saw a very close shave myself today
I was pulled up at a pedestrian crossing on the inside lane facing a red & heard a huge screech of brakes from behind
I looked across the other two lanes & saw this jap buzz box with all four locked up & smoking as it slithered right through the crossing.
Trouble was there was a kid wheeling his bicycle across at the time. He saw the car coming & leapt back out of the way..........only to see his bike smashed out of his grip & crushed under the buzz box
Very lucky escape, then I thought......what if I had stopped in that outside lane, would have got knocked into next week from behind for sure
The driver quickly reversed out of the crossing but the damage was done. Lucky for her there were no in the area or she would have been a goner big time
They guys at work are having fun taking the piss out of me.

Good news from the bike shop. Muffler repairable. To take the claw marks out they had to do some polishing.
Looks great. Had to take the undented can in so they could polish it to match. Nice looking bling.
Photos to follow when I get them back and fitted.
It looked like claws made an impression, denting the alloy a bit - were they able to remove the small dents too? How?
And if they still got the dents, I'll be charitable and offer to swap for my prestine Yoshi RS3 ovals just so you can keep the bling factor 100% Edited by: monyx at: 8/2/07 8:42
Thanks monyx, but I'll keep mine.
The dent has been removed and the claw marks polished out.
Looks very blingy (if that's a word)
My Yoshi cans are ready to be picked up. Hoping the wife will get them tomorrow for me.
It's strange riding my bus and being able to hear myself think.
