STINKY GLOVES!
#1
I feel like a bit of a post whore lately, but hey.

I have a reasonable pair of winter gloves, they would be great, except they f*&^ing stink any time I wear them.

I tried putting talc powder in them but that made it worse, plus my hands look all frosty when I remove them.

What should I try to de-stinkify my gloves?? [I've tried washing them, kindof. They don't wash very well]

I have found that febreeze sprayed in them on a regular basis helps a bit, not perfect, but does help!.

yep second the febreeze thingy. not the total solution but goes some of the way.
Have a beaut pair of waterproof winter jobs but they have had an unfortunate odour from the start.
best i have found but requires frequent application. what ever you do dont try turning them inside out. never get them right if you do.

These are/were a newish pair of gloves, only worn for maybe 6 months. [went smelly after a couple]

Are there any reasonable priced [decent quality] waterproofs that you'd recommend [for everyday use]?

I paid something like $130 for these, and they keep the water out for a few hours, and the general build of them was good. I don't want to be buying shitty gloves, even if they are cheap.

I'll try the febreeze thing too. I can't afford too many more gloves, I've already got 4 pairs, 5 inc the GF's. Only one, smelly pair, are good for winter riding though.

cheers,
