Hey team

I'm just bootling around a little at the moment and just left Paris. Only found one Hayabusa, but it was parked outside The Catillion, THE most expensive hotel in Paris and one of the most expensive in the world. Guess we have pretty expensive tastes huh? Took a photo will post it when I get back.

Hey 2bob, The Bronnie said she bumped into you. She always loves the reaction she gets from fellas when they say, 'just a Suzuki' and she says, NOT A HAYABUSA? Women who look like Dr Fox shouldn't know such things. She remains one of the best pillions I have ever had, except when she is drunk. When she is drunk she gets silly.

Have fun without me, the weather is crap here but I'm missing the bike something fierce.

Hey Heidi, doing a tour of great libraries of the world?

I just told Jo you were there, and she wants to know "Was Paris ready for her?"

Keep out of trouble, gal, and don't carry any packages onto the plane for strangers...

I knew I would like Barcelona, I came out of the underground train station after an 11 hr overnight train trip, trapped with an Arab who spoke no English, limited French, but had a great way with the eyebrow waggle and a Spanish sea captain who had not slept in 5 days (when he really should have). I staggered out into the early morning sunshine and say a blue/silver bus fly past. Admittedly, it is the only one I´ve seen, but it was a moment.

Must to my sister´s disgust, I´m doing a bike tour of Europe. Every opportunity I get I´m over chatting to blokes about their bikes (with varying degrees of sucess I might add).

We´ll see if I find any in Italy. LOADS of Aprillias over here, but that is to be expected.

I reckon the frogs are minding Sadaam's WMD for him

ce'st la vie mon ami ??

Now if you go down to Italy & want to see Italy's answer to the Great Ocean Road, take the autostrada to Naples & then the coast road to a pretty little village called Positano where you will find a bike guy who owns a 900 Duc monster selling postcards & tourist stuff, nice bloke, wants to come here for hols. Must be brave to ride THAT road, it's a doozy

Heidi, Caught up with the girl from the pub again for a xmas drink. The FOX is an interesting woman. What a co-incidence that the friend she knew that rode a Hyabusa in Canberrra, was also the one person I knew of that did same - she couldn't believe it when I offered to guess her Canberra friend's name - and got it in one!

As for Italy, I recommend that the ONLY means you use to get around is a m'bike or scooter as the road rules are open to interpretation - and the Italians always seemed to interpret them differently to me. A m'bike will help you keep clear of the permanent traffic jams. If in doudt - use the footpath. The narrow cobbled roads will open your eyes.

Return safely and share the pics when you get back,

2Bob
