I'm going on the Snowy Ride this year, I'm riding down on the thursday with the OzVFR club and will be staying in Jindabyne with them at Mad Mooses... Look for a black/silver 2001 model with SA plates

G'day Wily E C,
I'm traveling down with about 50 bikes from Armidale. We'll be staying at Katoomba on Thursday night and Friday and Saturday night at Thredbo. I'm the only bus driver in the group so I should be easy to spot.
Just wanted to know if there were any club members staying in Thredbo that would like a beer and a chat. It'd be nice to be able to put a face to the names I see here. Hope to catch up.

Sorry about the lack of phone conversation. Evenings lately have been a bit hectic (is it me or is Xmas drinks starting early this year?).

Was great to catch up Gary(Turtle)...all-be-it for a short while...but HEY...wasn`t it simply one HUMONGOUS SHIT-HOT week-end of ridin`,eh?

(even the 6hr ride home thru gale force winds and torrential rain couldn`t take the gloss off a brilliant w/end)

Had a great time too. Had some battery trouble on the way home. Got rained on and blown away but that's bike riding. Hope to catch up soon.

Hey Franko, sorry I didn't catch up... did the Snowy TT loop all day Friday then got rather drunk

The BT001s were awesome on the khancoban road once I got em warmed up properly Of course nearly riding into the grill of a highway patrol car coming out of a left hander was almost embarrassing

...and yeah..know what ya mean...a 3 day stint is barely enuff time to be lapping that awesome TT circuit and fitting in a shitload of socializing as well.

Funny thing...on the way out of Jindy(homeward bound) a whole bunch of plods where there on the roadside,waving us all `goodbye`.
Perhaps it was sincere.
..or maybe they were just pleased to be seeing the back of us all (for at least another year) hmmmm!!
..or maybe still,as no doubt Kawasuki would agree,they were just sad to see all that `POTENTIAL REVENUE`leaving town!!

AAHHH...there`s certainly nothing more cynical than cynicism,huh??
