New BUSA owner at last :)

Well today, off I goto work at 6am like a good little fellah, sitting in work at 11.25am and I thought, ahh fuckit what am I doing here. Could NOT concentrate on work knowing my busa was sitting in the shop waiting for me. Anyway, a phone call to the boss and I'm on my way home with a nasty *cough*

So I get home, no sign of the missus out spending more money she was, anyway a phone call and she drops home, picks me up and off we go to the bike shop Hand over the cheque, make a phone call to organise insurance, get the to put the original bits and pieces (mufflers etc) into the wifes car, hop on and away we go

Red & black Busa with Yoshi RS3 can's, had them fit a centre stand too, Ventura rack and double bubble screen. When I picked it up theres was a big fat 0 on the oddometer (handy they are right next door to licencing centre heheh) and it now has 68km on there Oh, did I mention my *cough* is pretty nasty and I don't go back to work until Wednesday morning

Onya Tim.
It's a great feeling, isn't it?
Just wait until you get to use 11,000rpm!!! Left stains in the undies even bleach didn't remove!

A good solution is to buy brown undies to start with, they'll hide those nasty stains.

In all seriousness though, listen to BUSGO, and beware the brakes, for the first month at least, consider how much distance you need to stop, then double it!!! Often the bike is going a lot faster than it feels like.

Wise choice of weaponry - enjoy.

enjoy the good points and we can help with the not so good. The brakes can be massively improved if or when you choose to do something, otherwise bathe in the virgin busa in all its glory. Glenn the Spa Man

My missus is feeling left out now, she claims she hasn't seen me so happy since...ahem ok well since...

Well have now got to decide if I go back to work in the morning *cough splutter* or going for another days riding , decisions decisions. Having said that got a 6am start tomorrow, finish at 13:30 then have Thursday/Friday RDO's anyway, may as well go in and show off the BUSA hehe.....

All thats left to do is find a buyer for the ZZR, shop offered me $7250 for her today, but guy was at least honest enough to tell me they would prolly sell her for $9 to $.5k so I though fuckit (again) I will try sell her in the paper so she is in this weeks Quokka. My neighbour saw both bikes in the garage this morning and called me a capitalist Who, me? lol

Been thinking will drop the oil @ 500km (tomorrow if I don't goto work lol) and I 'assume' at the 1k service they will do the same and replace the filter?? Standard for 1st service? If not will make sure they do when time comes.

Bad points? What, where, when?? So far i am very happy...Very happy indeed so no doubt as things come to light i will be doing some searching, then posting fer help Will post up a photo when I can 'find' the digital camera, moved house a while ago and not seen it since

Gotta see if there are any Perth guys up for some rides once she is run in...

Cheers all and thanks for the replies.

Be careful, I saw 9000 rpm on mine yesterday. Scary.

My '06 is just 2 months old and it already has over 4000k on it.

At that rate that's 24000k a year.

...............Think I best find some other past time.
