Side stand

Anyone had any experience with rebuilding side stands?
I got my Bus a couple of months ago and noticed that the stand touches the pipe when up. Took it apart the other day and it's all down to wear. Needs the surfaces built up, or some means of closing the leg flanges. Anyone had similar problems? <i></i>
