Try pumping clutch a few times.. I find when my 13 gets a bit female over selecting 1st I just release and engage clutch again.. PRESTRO she slides into first

If it like mine Maj it seems to be one of those things... I have noticed mine getting less and less in the need for a second clutch pull though?
I have found doing a 2nd pull also dramatically reduces the first gear clunk you can get.
