If you were to take the bike to an automotive engineer and got the Db's checked and certified wouldnt that coun't? cause people get custom bike/cars engineered all the time so the exhaust's they use must be within the laws spec's!! for both emision's and Db's!

I htink that would be a great way to support you in court after the ticket has been issued... unless you carry around a weather protected copy of report with you all the time to produce to the cops each time they think you're too loud..

For me the rediculous part is when you compare it to legal Harley's with straight pipes

On the Harley thing, Ive got a 2009 softail cross bones and had to put oem pipes on to rego it and its not much louder than the Busa with its OEM pipes!!(it sounds camp as a row of tents)

Over here they sell Harleys with aftermarket pipes and just have the purchaser to sign a release acknowledging they don't comply with noise regulations.

BTW, don't want to start a shit fight but while you might be happy to have one of those flags in your backyard, others may not be of the same view and this is a public forum.

$418!!! Are you kidding me for that piece of roadside metal!!! You can put chickenwire down your exhaust for $4.50 from Bunnings and put the bike down to 50 decibels then take it out later and annoy your neighburs at 4 in the morning all over again.

$418 is 13 Cartons of VB when they're on special and a 750 bottle of Jim Beam. Get real Grunty..
