DEFECTIVE BUSA!!!
#31
Okay, new tyres fitted and stock rear fender bolted in place (f*** its ugly). Thanks to all those who assisted! Front up today for the inspection. Worried that I don't have orange reflectors on the rear of the Busa. Will this be a deal breaker? Might buy some stick-ons and strategically position them where I think they might go.

Haven't got the lower fairing on though. Ran out of time. Fingers crossed.

Seriously. Isn't this absolutely fucken ridiculous? Its a rear reflector! When the hell am I going to have it parked unattended by the side of the road with the arse pointing back down the road? Hmm. Maybe I should put those orange reflectors on!

the only thing I don;t understand is that EVERY number plate has a high-vis base to it making it very reflective and seeable. And this reflective plate sits right above the mandatory reflector???

I mean if hte bikes not registered then it should be on the road, if it is then why can't the plate be the reflector????

Ahhh, but the reflective base is white! And white is the colour required for a reflector on the front of the vehicle! You would need a red coloured reflector to prevent people from becoming confused and thinking your parked Busa was facing towards them! But wait! there is no white reflector on the front of the busa and there is no front numberplate. So you'd be invisible to oncoming cars - but then we already are anway. Where's the logic? Oh I get it, the red reflector law came in when bikes had front numberplates. Oh Oh, time to shut the f*** up.

So how much did that all cost?
has the stock rear fender 'fallen of' yet?

Nah, but the wheel weights put on by the blokes who fitted my tyres (and charged an arm and a leg) have fallen off. Pulling the wheel off to balance it myself.
