wobble around corners
#16
Got the bike checked out at Ron Balls today and discovered that the tyres were shit, and the rear axle was loose. He put on a set of Pirelli Diablo Corsas, did up the axle and dialled in the front suspension.

Now around corners it feels stable and confidence inspiring. Almost like a new bike.
Also scored myself a free beanie.

That's excellent. Sort of supports what I was saying about how complicated it is to tune suspension. Basically a rear tyre and axle!! We live and learn. Thanks for the feedback, all good stuff to remember.
I'd have to say, I can see no justification (other than bling which is an entirely justifiable reason!) for going exotic on suspension. The standard bike seems pretty good if set up right and in good nick.
Safe riding!

That is cool, exactly what us Mexicans need this time of year.
I wonder if Fasterfaster is reading this.
