Front Rim - gen1 vs gen2

Heya guys,

just wondering if anyone can tell me:

1) are the gen1 and gen2 front rims identical in size and most importantly width?

2) if there is a [width] difference, by how much?

my bro is trying to mate a pair of gen2 forks together with some gen1 wheels onto his TLR1000R (btw...TLR wheels are identical to gen1 busa wheels).....is this an easy mod? or is he pushing shite up hill the hard way?!?

As far as i know the axles are different

,brake set up
Gen2 Is radial Vs normal on gen1,
And dont fit it while drinkin you'll have
Problems with spilt beer all over the place ;)
