Current court case regarding people smugglers

I think a lot of people are mad that these boat folk can get away with pushing through the queue for one thing, make free phone calls to their relatives and friends when they make it here, and when they dont get their way with getting a visa can trash the detention centres and get huge compensation payouts for stress, free housing and a pension. Beautiful this Australia, what a lucky country it is. I wont be voting for this government again thats for sure, my taxes could do better elsewhere.

Once they are here, they are here. Once they are in Indonesia, they are here. I certainly wouldn't want to be in their shoes. In terms of 99% of them getting a proper visa at an Aussie embassy overseas, near impossible. If they know they can fly staight into Indo & pay a little kickback at Indo Immigration, they'll keep coming. If they stop em at Jakarta Airport, Penny Wong will miss out on her kickbacks.
Taxes: 45% PAYE Income tax, that's why all the idiots in Canberra just gave themselves a massive payrise, because they knew they'd only get to keep 55% of it.
