Gen 1 fuel cap

Hey all, I have an 04 busa and REALLY want to get this gas cap.

It says it is only made for gen 2 busa.

My Q is whether an older gixxer, SV or bandit cap would fit on the gen 1 or not?

Hi Dubs,

I had a look at couple of American Site looking at there parts list etc and the parts appear to be different for all the bikes that you have listed but that doesn't mean that it won't fit.

You may need to see if you can get hold of one of those bikes and see what the physical difference is or maybe just drop the guys an email and ask the question and would have agree bloody nice looking fuel cap.

You could always put a Gen II Fuel Tank on, now what would that be Gen 1 Busa, Gen 2 Tank & Gixxa Arse End can't go wrong.
