Today we received a letter from the bank stating the details of the skimmed withdrawal....which we already knew and told the bank, but the letter then finishes by saying "we hope this answers your dispute"No it doesn't!!!!!!
I guess it is back to calling the call centre tomorrow for some real answers.
Sorry to say Kathy, but you might be stuck with a loss. The bank will cover any fraudulent transactions where you did not knowingly contributed to it. If someone made a copy of your card, as it seems to be the case here, and the legitimate PIN was used they might try to wiggle out of it. I am sure all ATMs have cameras installed so there should be some recorse for you to prove that it was not you doing that transaction.
