Busa in Tumbarumba
#1
I had to laugh today. I had to go to Tumbarumba to give evidence in a court case. After our case was heard, I was outside talking to the two LOVELY local cops who have been so helpful.

The three of us were standing outside the courthouse when I heard a pretty distinctive engine note. I turned around, and there was an orange GEN2 with a bloke in shorts and thongs, happy as larry. He did a high-speed pass down the (one) main street, shot down an alley, reappeared, piss-bolted up past the cop shop.... all much faster than the 50km/hr posted speed limit. Clearly having a LOVELY time in the 5 degree sunshine and his japanese safety boots.

The two cops looked at each other and shook their heads, 'there's *insert name* again'. Senior Constable turned to me and shook his head, 'I've had a word to him a few times now, guess I'd better do it again'. They both looked at each other. 'You'd have to be a bloody lunatic to ride one of those things!'

They both turned to me. I smiled and said, 'well this is awkward!'.

I've met him before and I know the name (didn't put it in deliberately), but I don't think he is a member. If he is, I think he is a silent one.

She DID use her posh voice, and she WAS wearing her posh work outfit, so when the person who was in front of the court took one look at her, she got a FRIGHT and immediately pleaded guilty to all charges rather than fight.

Pity, I was looking forward to yelling, I OBJECT!
