screen tinting
#16
Yeh guys. I bought one of those screens, and it arrived from my posty busted. I contacted my new chinese friend, and he immediately sent me another replacement screen..... bonza!

Great screen, and have been able to tuck-in when doing some western NSW high speed runs. Just cant see much through it with the tinted visor on.

You cant put tint film on the std screen, cause it is plastic and flexes with movement, and the tint is not flexible once set. Get one of those ebay screens. There cheap, and the fit well. I will try and find a pic of my bike, and show.

Found one...just. Just another piccy, and not the best, but might help ??

Ok, and the last one that I can find on my home computer (note to self... must send photos from work computer to home pc...doh !)

A bit cheeky, but you can still see the screen.

Cheers Grant. I washed it one day, and all of the Purple paint fell off.

Yeah, me too.....

And it can't be because of the colour, because in all honesty (and absolutely no offense to the owner whatsoever) that simply isn't the type of colour that I personally am naturally attracted to....
I think it's because this bike has simply been "done" very, very well.....without being "over" done !!!
Hey UNIT....why not bring this truly magnificent specimen down to Tathra this year, so we can all pay homage to it (read: drool all over it)?!?

I ended up getting one of the cheap screens and it arrived yesterday and it is ok, but for that sort of money you cant expect it to be perfect. I dont think it will last on the bike long especially if I can get a zero gravity for $80.
