Polishing...
#1
Ruffy's going to be off the road for a couple of weeks, so i thought it moght be a good time to polish up things like the rearsets, pilly sets, rear brake holder etc

Do i use a paintstripper first or wet and dry s/paper?
What grades do i need?

Now i know there's a few wank, sorry polishers in the club, so show me how to do it and we can all polish together or you may prefer this way

Cheers Ruffy

Did you just refer to yourself in the third person? Glen reckons you're a wierdo. Anyways, here is some good info. Hope it helps.

Those instructions a far too complex.
Just hit the metal with a rough wet and dry to remove the coating.
Then gradualy move up the grit content of the paper with a finer paper to remove the scratches that you might create.
After you have a smoothish finish, hit it with a superfine wet and dry.
Then use a good metal polish such as Purple or Autosol, to make it sparkle.

Give it another polish after any wet riding to keep the shine.
