Gen 1 Fender Eliminator.....

Hey guys & girls,

I'm having a LOT of difficulty locating a fender eliminator for my Gen1 ('99).

First stop was Rated-R in W/Aus.....no luck there, they do 'em, but only seem to cater for the Gen2

Checked more than a dozen more in the states....same deal, Gen2 only!

Can anyone post a link where I can obtain one please?!?

Bike Gear Warehouse has them, the HotBodies brand. They look good but are definitely not ADR compliant. You would have to also get a license plate mounting bracket and fit new indicators, in order to meet compliance.

Oh, wait, I'm talking about undertails, sorry. I take it you already have an undertail fitted? If so, which brand did you get? I hate the stock rear on my Busa and want to find a decent undertail.

No, no after market undertail just yet.....

i was under the impression the gen1 fender was a bolt-on like the gen2.....but i've since been informed otherwise.

the advice i've received re: compliancy is that the rear end clean-up mod is legal, if u have installed a hugger over the rear wheel !?!

can anyone confirm or deny this please ???

I've heard the same thing Bazman....if you instal a rear hugger it's legal, but, I remember reading a thread about the same thing and someone posted up the link to the ADR's (Madmax?)
