Ive Googled this and nobody knows.
I can't believe it that when they named the 20's, 30's, 70's etc etc
they didn't work out a proper naming system that would continue forever and be consistant and useful.
For example...What will happen now with radio stations in the future?
"playing the hits of the 80's 90's 2010's and 2020's"
It just doesn't work.
Baffled....
Apparantly the decade we've just completed were called the noughties. Radio stations will not change...the commercial ones will keep playing the same 20 songs over and over all day like they do now, and Triple J will continue to play the odd good song hidden amongst jungle music and Bavarian throat singers, as usual.

Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!
that wont work because u will have 2 lots of 20,s 30.s 40,s 50,s etc as in 50,s of the 20th century and 50's of the 21st century
:-(
if you think about it the saying 60's music will probably never be used again except for the 20th century which we have lived through.
Sad but in a way special too that we have been part of it.
Maybe they will call it the teens??
