hello my chickens..Very Happy

ok my eldest brother today showed me his new bike.lordy that man has his first 20cents in the corner of his hanky still.

he bought a triumph sprint 2003 RS.
nice blue colour.he bought it as a right-off.

but he is like that he can tinker away on anything.when most people walk away he turns then around and makes a goer of it.

he lives in canberra .we were passing through from pink concert in sydney.he was proudly showing off his purchase.

however he was saying it was a tad hard to get parts as places do not answer emails and you lot know what the web is like.its crazy!

i said welllllllllllllllllllllll my mates at the busa club might be able to help.

when he bought the bike it didnt go.minor electrical prob.fixed.we are at a guess the bike must have gone under a truck or flipped on its head.3/4 bike is fantastic and i,m so happy that we have influenced him too go riding with us.farm kid brought up on trails ect.

what he needs is

headlights.
pilot light.
top front fairing(blue)
fairing bracket
instrument cluster(dead is ok-he will fix it)

also being his first 'road bike' he isnt used too being humped over so would like to try to track down adjustable handle bars/risers.

i,m thinking you lot will know where i might go too track down parts making it a tad easier for him.

A couple of us came from Triumph to Busa
Good info here http://www.triumphtorque.com/ (used to be 595.net when i first joined 10 yrs ago... is it realy 10 yrs...)
Parts are generally not as cheap as Suzuki, he may think about streetfightering it and save some $$$ headlights for my old Daytona were $900 back then...
Sprint will be a comfortable ride , early cbr900 bars used to raise the daytona grips up a few cm , same may still apply.

ok my brother is wrapped.he couldnt believe how fast i got the info for him.
one email i got from a friend particulary helpful.

only thing is to find the second hand fairings.

although i thought his are repairable and knowing he will fix them.

the headlight surround will be particulary hard to get.

maj i said about street fighting it,,he laughed in a good way.said his wife might shoot him.
i met the guys from streetfighters.com in switzerland last year.mad buggers.i have posted some of their bike picts here before.
seems nothing isnt out of bounds.our good friend who lives there was growing grass on his bike and dressing up as the hulk to do a drunken almost vertical hill run that no one has ever got to the top..just mad!
