surfabusa just seen this thread asked me to find out
1. how many k's had you done on these bearings DJ? around 60,000k
2. you mentioned about steam cleaning bike he does this at least once a month they were the words of Raceway Suzuki so maybe stay away from wheels if steam cleaning
he just clocked up 30,000km's, will steam cleaning reduce life expantancy of the bearings? see above
finally how much did it cost to get done?? 30 in parts 88 in labour 113 all up

Like ohdear said in there post its not a matter of how many Ks you do but how they are treated,
on my k3 i have replaced front bearings 3 times and bike has only done 7000ks so i think my bike sitting around getting washed and cleaned more than riden is harm in it self will make me think twice befour i get on it next time as it has been sitting for some time now
