The Wombeyan Caves Rd is a rough, corrugated dirt road. This road is better done in a 4wd.

Lol3 I know that road, the road from goulburn to bathurst used to be dirt in 1979.I remember the old man barrelling along it at 60-70mph in our vc valiant on the way to the bathurst races. We come over a crest sideways at about 60mph dust everywhere to see an old couple on the side of the road having a devonshire tea with scones etc.Lol3I don,t reckon those scones tasted so good when the dust cleared.EmbarassedThe trip was worth it,brocky won by 6 laps,go the torana A9X.I,d go up the southern highlands way from the twin maccas, turn into exeter and follow that through to bundanoon, penrose, wingello, tallong, marulan, then turn off onto that road to bungonia, which will take you through to the back of goulburn.Thats the same route we took on the way to jindy last year.

That road is now sealed all the way (done it a few times with the boys )
Good road some very fast sweepers and a bit of tight stuff bout halfway. This rd takes you through Oberon.
