Are any of the Newcastle group able to lend me a decent sized rackbag for the long weekend?.....the zip on mine has shit itself, and the mob I bought it off haven't replied to my email yet.

I have two Ventura bags but the big one is twice the size of the small one.
You could borrow whichever you prefer. The big one expands out to about 60 litres I think.
