Converted Busa Rider (from R1)

Just traded my 07 R1 in for a Busa 08 Limited Edition (white)

Been riding most of my life moving to road bikes around 18 (now 38).

Wow what a transformation it is from riding an R1 for nearly 2 years to going to a Busa (which i had never rode previously). I'm located in Adelaide so I took the bike for a spin down to Victors harbour and back (about 200km) and realised that I should of bought the Busa back in 07.

Dont get me wrong the R1 in terms of power and fun is incredible. Not many riders can harness the true power of those bikes as it seems unlimited which I found out the hard way one day going around a corner with cold tires (broke my butt lol)

Why trade? I broke my elbow at work and have 80% extension which is a bitch if you own an R1. I still love bikes and thought a sports cruiser could take me away from my mid life crisis lol.

I love riding and are currently looking at a decent club or bike group in Adelaide. Any suggestions on good family clubs would be appreciated.

Again its a pleasure to join the forum and I look forward to having input into the forums.

A very big Welcome to the busa family.

I bet you are much more comfortable on the busa than the R1 mate.
Take it very easy on that right wrist and careful on the brakes till you run yourself in.
Very Happy
