Picked up my new k8 1 week ago, love it ,but a bit concerned about vibrations ,anything more than 3/4 throttle and above 4000rpm leads to strong vibs thru bars, very noticeable when backing off also.
Do they all do this, please any feedback would help

Very consistent feedback suggests they all do this.
But I barely notice it anymore. Probably a case of me being used to it; perhaps it feels smoother since I've got more klms on it...

Mine also had a vibration but as Tim said don't really notice it anymore, could be either i'm use to it or it has worked out with K's....seemed to be worse at about 130 kph?
but i'd suggest it will also pass for you also...but if it's still there after 2500-3000 k's i'd get it checked out.
cheers

Yep, the cams kick in at right on 4,500 rpm and smooth out again at about 5,500.
This is not a bad spot because the cruise speed is about 125kph just below the vibe point and is a warning if you are on a freeway somewhere.
They do run a lot smoother on 98 ocatane fuel than on 95 as well.
You only feel it because it is so smooooooth lower down the range.
