I saw this post on 200mph website today
http://www.200mph.net/smf/index.php?topic=58604.0
Software is available to remap a standard Busa ECU including over rev, shift light, fuel and ignition maps and more!
Anyone seen this or tried it?
I have downloaded the software and will have a go a making the USB interface.

The user instructions (brief) can be found here:

Interface instructions from here:
http://macmadigan.no-ip.com/Public/ECU/i...erface.htm
I am not sure if you need the RS232 interface for the USB cable or if it is only for the serial cable. I am waiting on a response for that.
Unfortunately I am not that clued up on interfaces.

Latest update on the ECU hack is that the guys have cracked a clutchless upshift on the stock ecu using the GPS as the trigger.
I still need to extract the stock Aussie map from my ECU. Anyone with a sound electronics knowledge in Aus that can help? otherwise I will send the ECU to one of the guys O/S who has developed the crack to extract the MAP in case flashing with their data fails. They cant be 100% sure the MAPS are the same as Europe and USA.
The ECU must be notched and have some hidden connectors tapped into to extract the data. after that reflashing can be done via the yoshi connector.
The guys on the site offer all software for free and are not looking to commercially sell the software. All you need to do is make the 232ttl converter to reflash the ECU. Hell of a lot cheaper than some aftermarket piggybacks and more powerful than some as well.
If anyone is interested in sharing the cost of the hardware to extract the Aussie MAP let me know and we can all reap the benefits. It is a one off cost and once the data is extracted it will be obsolete.
I think total cost of the hardware would be around 200-300 bucks
