Anyone read the new NSW road rules July 1?

I got bored reading most of it but from what I can see it is mainly common sense stuff or did I miss something while I was sleeping. I did note that you can not carry an animal on the tank anymore - will this affect our Tex friend?

Any thoughts on any of it

You will find that one of the new rules states the new minimum age now for pillion passengers - Its now 8 yrs old rather than the general rule of the child being able to reach both foot pegs flat footed


wonder if they are going to send out a snail mail to all the licensed riders in aus stating the new law or just nail us without notice ( for those of us that do not chase this crap up )

Yep, Tex is trying to mount an argument. if anyone has some sensible advice, I'm sure he wants to hear it.
