tuneboy tuning a busa
#1
I spoke to roger who runs the dyno at motorcycle weaponry today and he said the guy who owns tuneboy was coming to see him.Roger has tuned a few bikes with tuneboy now and likes what he sees.I mentioned some have tuned the busa with tuneboy now so if how that is done can be made public there is a very real possibility that this service could be made available.I don,t know if there is any intellectual property issues or not as alot of work was done on this by people that should benefit i think but it would be nice to have full access to fuel and ignition tables to optimise your bike.I suppose the next question is where would you source a decent knock sensor for ignition tuning and whether the dj torque software would benefit.

The knock sensor for an LS2 (as used in the current Holden HSV) may be available and affordable , or perhaps the one from an LS1 .
Tuning by knock may not be the best way as the amount of spark advance needed for peak toque and where knock occurs may not be near one another .
