Loving it so far, handling and steering are 1000% better than I was expecting for such a lump of a bike.

Induction roar makes the hairs stand up, that alone is worth the price.

Only done 180 kms so still getting the feel for it, but so far leaves the FZ1 I traded for dead in most areas.

Never rode the Gen 1 so can't give you any comparisons sorry.

The arse end is really growing on me, but the mufflers have gotta go.

The dash is great especially the gear position indicator (I'm lazy).

I'll post an update after a good long ride, hopefully on the weekend if the forecast rain holds off.

Another new bike in clean shed. Very nice too Redgum.

Hey Gladstone..... I have rellies living there.
I hope you don't get too hot to ride that busa up there over the next few months.

Is that one of the new aftermarket Suzuki tank pads?

I blame the missus for the clean shed, mine downstairs is much more normal.

The heat is a problem over summer, it's hard to get motivated to get suited up and head off for a ride some weekends.

The tankpad was from tankpads.com.au. Prompt delivery to the door.
The gold is a close match but the black is just black. Looks ok though.

Gladstone, the dealer got two black ones in, not sure if the other was sold.

Happy to meet or host anyone coming through up this way.

Hi Redgum,
Do you have a closeup shot of the tankpad mate?
I'm thinking of getting one. I notice that they have them in a Blue/Silver combo too.

Hi Busgo,
Just got back from 2 weeks away (not on the busa, family holiday this time) so here you go, let me know if you need a better photo or more detail. I'm happy with the quality and it looks like it should last awhile.

Thanx for the photo. I really like the pad with the gold Kanji.
I checked out the website and was on the verge of buying the blue/silver one but I found the nice Micrografix pad that suits the blue bike and got that one.
