I can buy a hayabusa frame for a fair price which came from Europe as a bike with out a motor and other bits missing. I checked the frames vin with Vicroads and it doesnt come up as stolen.
I'm wondering, if I choose to use the frame for a project which I want to register for on the road, is there red tape problems that I will encounter which may limit road registered use? What other problems may I encounter? Feel free to put any info towards this!

you will not be able to register to frame in Australia and it would not show up on Vic roads as stolen as they would have no records on this bike that is why its selling cheep

Dont know that its on ebay.
Lots of shit to try & get OS frame registered unless you live there & bring it back with ya.
It was registered in Sydney from new 03 model , then ownership was transfered to a qld about 16 months ago. That owner then traded it with me & i sold it on.
It has a clear title , no smash damage .
Other parts are available , tank, fairings ducktail
Should own it for $1400
Shipping to Vic was quoted to last buyer about $160.
