No Muffler exit at Mid Pipe

Thinking of removing the muffler at the Drag Strip,just dumping at the mid pipe.

Could this cause any damage to the motor, back pressure etc?

Or will the better breathing give a bit more top end.

Blackzook did this and it seemed to help. Just make sure your you don't burn the soles of your shoes off!

Removing the silencer won't hurt anything but your ears :)

your ears and your relationship with your neighbous or in my casewhen i was at richards an decided id have a quick ride around the block with no cans....his relationship with his neighbours:2funny:Lol2

And make sure your battery breather is no where near the exit .... Did this yrs ago on an old cb900 , battery blew up at the 3rd gear shift acid everywhere. good thing the seat was latched ....

did this 2 weeks ago. felt a bit more power. had no problems. i didn't want to put them back on.
