did anyone here receive official notification of the CCT recall from Suzuki? I only found out thru a mate in the US.

We mostly have had them done already. If you bought your bike new, it probably has had them done too, if second hand contact your dealer immediately to have them done. This is the cct No.3, the ratchet system.

Suzuki seemed to be fairly efficient in that most people received notification directly at about the same time. If you bought yours second hand, did you or the previous owner notify Suzuki of the change of ownership?

I was only notified once but found out through other dealers that there were 2 other recalls. I have had these completed, with the oil dampening unit and timing chain being relpaced. I now have a rattling timeing chain when first started and idoling, and I have heard that this has not worked on other buses, resulting in blowing his motor. I have not any news about the ratchet system can you tell me more?
