G'day one and all,

Sorry for going off the deep end and being a bit catty, however below is my responce to the other board.

G'day Pete,

Tell you what, you stay on your board and I'll stay on the other. I trust this can be an agreement to suit both.

I won't slag(as you and others have suggested)you if you leave the other board alone, and I mean alone.

Pete, if you want to go on with this it's not a problem, however, if you let it be we can all get on with our lives.

Trust me, I still haven't forgiven you for your indiscretion. I have a long memory. But leaving the other board alone will go a long way to removing this memory.

Pete, the last thing in this world I expected is someone to stick it to me that was given as much assistance as you were given. Even so I'm willing to accept that people are different, but as I have said keep to your own turf.

Sorry to be a pain in the arse, but I was amased how soon my posting was removed from the other board. 10 minutes and it was gone. I suppose they have every right to delete what they want even if it was a white flag.

hi col,

thanks for clearing the air and whilst i don't speak for other members of this board, i can understand your reaction and as far as i'm concerned lets just move on now,,

i am hoping that we can now have a strong input from people like you and jp even if its not always of a technical nature, or busa related,,

there has been heaps of talk all over the internet about commanders, back torque limiters, exhausts, air intake mods, suspension settings, sprockets etc, maybe you could focus on some of these issues and provide some clear input,,

I must say that it is with a heavy heart and rather cheerless disposition that I have read your reactions (please allow that word to be used loosely) on the spark plug affair regarding Pete's post. And it is with both, respect and a certain amount of admiration that I read your apology. What I cannot understand nor comprehend is that you state that you will not forget Pete's indiscretion and that you have a long memory. Inidscretion of what exactly are you referring to Col? And 'stick it to me', how exactly? As we have stated all the members of the other board hold you in what I would describe as "the Guru", advised and recommended by none other than Pete. So what are you basing your judgement on? You seem like a big man sir and it takes a big man to write an apology but please, dont insult

1) Pete's allegiance and ability
2) Our intelligence

Because this is what you do when you make the comments you do and it seems to me that there is almost a personal vendetta occuring to shrivel Pete's reputation as a mechanic. He has NEVER done that to you...not to any of us has he stated that you were anything less than able, fair and generous. Why in the world would you base an opinion on what is very obviously a poison communique with one intent?

We are funny creatures, human beings. Our idiosyncracies are what gives us our individuality but this should not mean that we should lose clarity of thought on any situation. Right now, right here Col, what we have is a case where you sir, have not allowed Pete a single ounce of the benefit of your doubt and that I think, should be of the essence.

hello ram,

its most admirable how some of you guys leap to pete's defence as soon as someone says something even remotely not complementary,,

however, and with all due respect to you, i would ask that in the future you keep this subject away from this board, col has stated his position quite clearly and that should now end the foray, of course there is nothing to stop you from posting it on your board though - which is where it really belongs,,

if col wishes to answer you, i would ask him to do so ON YOUR BOARD,,

other than that, you are most welcome to post here whenever you wish and participate in our rides and other club activities, as far as i am concerned it would be rather nice to meet you,,
