A week and a bit on after my first crash in over 30 years, I am pleased to report that whilst I am still in considerable pain and quite a bit of missing skin, I am almost able to walk without a crutch.
The bike is not so lucky, the damage bill is $12,600 so I suppose I must really consider myself very very lucky to be saying that I can hardly wait to get back on a busa in about 6 weeks.
I would like to thank everyone who offered their help and good wishes (particulalry Richard & Jo) and I look forward to riding with you all very soon.
