Now that looks like a good idea.
I also understand that use may constitute an infringement in its own right. perhaps some expert can advise us.
Poh!
I acquired one of these (or similar) fairly recently. I have not fitted it as yet for two reasons. Firstly, for it to work properly it has to sit flush up against the numbers of your plate without bending, which I'm having trouble getting it to do, and secondly, I have been told that in Victoria if the authorities want to get real nasty, it can be classed as the same offence as using a radar detector which carries a $2,000 fine. A mate of mine who recently had his confiscated was told this by the officer. He also got the impression that the officer was "on the lookout" for them.
There was recently another thread on this subject which featured an Australian link where you can buy these if interested.
South side motorcycles....
just discovered a much smarter locally made device to ensure that your number plate is always in top condition at the flick of a switch, will keep those that are interested posted,,
No protection when you don't know that you need it, though. If you know you need it, then you can always slow down...
Les,
I am definately interested in knowing more about that when you have more information please.
