Congratulations to the member who got the "this ticket has been withdrawn" letter... Now, if mine would only come through!

I thought that would be the end of it too, turns out this prankster had written the ticket out for 2009 (didn't even notice...) so it has been re-instated...as has my notice of objection...

Oh, shit...

I got a reply, finally, saying that the issuing of my ticket was at the discretion of the policeman, and would only be withdrawn if there appeared to be abuse of that discretion. So, without saying I was right of wrong, they said that in my case, the correct forum for establishing the validity of the ticket is in court.

How long does it take them to get around to setting a date...
