Hi guys,
we were in Coff's Harbour today while on our holiday and saw a beaut looking Black/Silver - UFY 99 and of course left a note.
Who owns this beauty?

Hey Pan,
you are a devil bloke. We'll be heading South from here Wednesday sometime. With the shifts I work I only had to take 6 off to get 14 days off, gotta love that.

We're taking my cousin and his wife out to dinner tomorrow night in thanks for our time up here in God's Own country. We'll probably leave here mid morning. The Bus I saw in Coff's had our sticker on the rear end and was in great condition.

Beers and cheers.

That little baby belongs to "busken".
He bought it about a month ago and stopped by for our morning coffee and chat in Newcastle on his way home to Coffs.

He's a lucky man, he has a great looking beast. He's got a ride in front of him in February if he's coming to Jindabyne. We're heading out of here, Valla, just north of Nambucca Heads, about 7.00 in the morning. Astor will have the chromed swinarm ready at 1400hrs so we're hoping to pick it up and get out of Sydney before the peak hour rush home happens.

Bastards. Mine's been there since August and it still isn't ready.

Going to call them now...

I rang them before we left to come up Pan. They said they could have it done in the week odd that we were up at Valla (just Nth of Nambucca). It was already polished, so all they had to do was dip it and so forth. $275 + gst = $302+ and not a bad job. Not as good as I thought it would be, there is some pitting in the top faces of the main rails but altogether not too bad at all, better than just polished and certainly more blinged up than standard.

They may be having problems getting somebody to polish it first? I have a mate down here will polish it for around a ton if you want to go that way.

Cheers

Mine had been polished already. They told me they had problems with flaking after it was chromed the first time, so they were polishing again, copper plating for smoothness, then chroming... but 5 freeking months later..........!!!!!

I didn't get to call today. On my "to do " list for tomorrow.

Pitting is a bummer. I had some stuff with pitting off them. They just re-did it. Took longer but looked better in the end.

Let me know how you go putting the swing arm on!
