What r u doin Xmas Eve?

Just got back from taking the kids to see the houses with the best Christmas lights displays in the area. We must have driven 60km - all over the shop - to see the best ones.

We have our favorites - especially one street where every house gets into the act in a big way. Mr. Whippy vans at both ends, hot dog vendor and local charity snag sizzle - this place has the lot. Then we went to visit all the prize winning houses in the district. One of our Christmas traditions.

They're both teenagers now.... so I'm not sure who is doing who a favour... but its one of those family moments none of us wants to let go of. I hope it lasts. With some luck, one day I'll be Grandad carting the grandkids around for the lights displays.

Then.... as soon as I dropped them back to their mum's place, I had to come check out the board to see whats going on.

Its my birthday tommorow,so hopefully sleeping in and then cooking a lamb on a spit.My wifes jewish so we don,t do christmas but the girls can open my presents for me,they always think its their birthday. Glenn the Spa Man

Well I just got home from my mum and dad's place. We celebrate Chrissy Eve (German tradition)

Ate too much, drank too much and loaded to the hilt with Chrissy presents. Aint life great.

Got to do it all over again tomorrow. Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.

hehehehe - I am out at healesville at my parents place with my sister & her two little ones & her hubby - had about a 6 pack of scothc & slept pretty well - waiting for the oldest of the kids to wake up!!!

I remember getting up before 6am to open pressies

A great read everyone.
I took my wife and daughter to visit our son in Armidale.
He had to work Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and couldn't come home.
So home went to him with the santa sack etc.

We had a big steak dinner at a hot pub and then all went back to play Holdem Poker at the motel.

Big Chrissy morning with the pressies and then the long drive back home via Thunderbolt's Way.
We saw 6 other vehicles in 250 ks before we hit the Pacific Hwy for the last 20.
Now its time for a
